What are the uses of hoes?

A hoe is the most commonly used tool by farmers. A hoe can weed and turn the soil. No matter which crop you want to plant, you must first use a hoe to loosen and turn the soil before planting crops. Therefore, a hoe is very important for farmers. Without a hoe to turn the soil, it means you cannot plant crops. A hoe can also be used for weeding, as small grass grows every season and needs to be weeded and tidied up once every season, especially in spring. As the grass grows more vigorously, it needs to be cleaned more frequently. In short, a hoe is the most important tool for farmers.

In the Neolithic Age, our ancestors had already invented hoes made of stone for planting crops. After the Han Dynasty, because stone hoes were less durable, the Han people changed them to iron hoes, which greatly increased their durability.

The hoe is divided into two parts. The first part is the "hoe blade", which is a place used for loosening soil and weeding. The hoe blade is flat and long, just like a kitchen knife, which is a quadrilateral kitchen knife shape. This is the most normal hoe, but there are also some special ones, such as rectangular, narrow and long, ladder shaped, etc., while the "handle" is the second part. The handle is a round wooden stick made of hardwood, which is very hard. The handle is used to fit into a hole at the back of the hoe blade to support it. The length of the handle can range from 80 centimeters to 160 centimeters, and it can be long or short, but it is more convenient to grow because farmers don't have to bend down and work so hard.
